With 16 years experience in the Insurance Industry and specifically in the Medicare field; she's able to help you explore your options when considering retirement. Angela got married to Victor May in August of 2025 and enjoys life with a partner again.
She specializes in assisting folks who are turning 65 and those that are past 65 with figuring out how Medicare works. She focuses on helping with prescription drug plans (with medication prices going up every day), this is a crucial part of any retiree's budget. She offers this service FREE for her clients. She seeks to help folks prepare for the inevitable by assisting with having the right amount of final expense or life insurance.
She re-certifies with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services through AHIP and each carrier annually in order to offer you the most up-to-date knowledge on the ins and outs of Medicare Advantage and Prescription drug plans. She also takes Continuing Education courses to renew my license bi-annually.
She was born in the Winchester, raised in Frederick County and am proud to call it home. She has three adult children, two grandsons and two cats. She enjoys spending time with her family and walks down the road and a good cup of coffee on the deck in the mornings with Vic, and exploring this beautiful country as often as they can. She loves the Lord and feel they are blessed beyond measure. Having been born in Frederick County to a father who worked at Rubbermaid, Henkel-Harris and the Clearbrook Woolen Mill (back in the day); she thinks you and she will find someone you both know and will make a connection immediately. She's a member of the TRIAD Group of Northern VA and the Age Well Council of the Northern Shenandoah Valley.
Theresa Brewer Sly has been a major part of the Blue Flame Insurance agency since 2023. She works to keep the office organized, handles preparation for events, helps with and conducts events and does everything in between. Having been a former hair dresser, she is extremely client focused and works to take care of clients and their needs.
She was born in the Winchester/Frederick County area and graduated from James Wood as a cosmetologist from Dowell J Vocational School. If you haven't guessed, she is Angela's sister and helps Angela to keep a calm head during stressful times in the office.
She has one daughter, Olivia who will be graduating soon from high school and a beloved dog, Thor. She also has a grandson, Marcello. She has a busy life with these two and enjoys working in the business with her sister.
Destiney Brewer is our newest agent, licensed in the summer of 2025. She comes to us with a extensive customer service background and is eager to assist each and every client that calls in for help.
At present, she assists with every aspect of the agency, with enrollment, education, takes great care of Angela & keeps her straight, does data entry, attends all events and supports Angela by setting up, and cleaning up after, she also contacts all attendees and answers questions, answers the phone and is over all office support and many other jobs that need to be done. She is the wife of Angela's brother, Chuck.
Together, they have 5 kids with two still in high school. To say she's a busy mom is not even close and she has to keep Angela's brother in line, as well. She rounds out the agency well and most of the time, folks think they are three sisters.
Tammy Mason is our latest addition and she is also a family member, having grown up living beside Angela & Theresa. She moved to North Carolina with her parents for many years and recently, in the last couple years, moved back to Winchester with her husband Stan. She has two grown children, three grandchildren and a dog.
She is now a fully licensed agent and assists with all aspects of the business, including answering the phone. She also helps Theresa in physical duties at the office as well. She'll eventually be holding seminars in new locations and partly replacing Angela in the ones that she holds.
She is excited to see where a career in insurance will take her.
